Kino Shorts is back for the first event of the year at the Black Lion on Wed 18th January. Just over the border from Manchester. The venue is just 12 minutes walk from Piccadilly Gardens, 5 minutes from Victoria train station or just 2 minutes walk from Deansgate (across …from the bottom of Market Street/St Mary’s Gate). As usual, they’ll be showing Short films essentially from Manchester, Salford and the North West but not entirely in this session. Their nights promote emerging filmmakers both locally and from the North West and also encourage debate and networking. Each short film, where possible, will be followed by a discussion with the director / producer / writer of the film (and cast members when available). There will be a break midway to refresh those glasses and a fab networking session afterwards till midnight. Networking is always an essential part of the Kino Shorts night. Be there or be nowhere. SO, IF YOU NOT BEEN TO ONE OF THEIR NIGHTS IN THE NEW VENUE YET, THEN START THE NEW YEAR THE RIGHT WAY AND GET DOWN TO THE PREMIER AND BEST SHORT FILM NIGHT IN MANCHESTER. THEY’VE BEEN DOING SHORT FILM NIGHTS SINCE E, NOW THAT HAS TO TELL YOU SOMETHING !!
